Pensacola Police arrested a man after a nearly four-hour standoff yesterday in northeast Pensacola. Shortly after 10 a.m. police were called to a residence on Durango Circle off of Langley for a disturbance. The female victim was able to leave the home on her own, but 33-year-old Charles McLemore refused to come out. The SWAT team was called and nearby Scenic Heights Elementary was briefly placed on lockdown. Around 2 p.m., officers entered the home and took McLemore into custody. There were no reports of any injuries. It turned out McLemore was wanted on a warrant for aggravated stalking.
