TRANSITION COMMITTEE REPORT RELEASED

The report prepared by the Transition Committee appointed by Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson Pensacola has been released. 55 individual recommendations were made by the 12-person committee which was headed up by businessman and philanthropist Quint Studer. The need for a unifying strategic plan for the city was a common theme throughout the 90-page report. Robinson said he was committed to adopting all 55 recommendations but said some will be easier and quicker to implement than others. The team met with city staff and members of the community, holding 14 individual community input sessions over the last three months, to create the report.
