The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says a man has been arrested for a fatal stabbing. It happened Friday afternoon in the 1000 block of Trammel Boulevard near Diamond Dairy Road off Highway 29. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead and 39-year-old Michael Gant was charged with homicide for the stabbing. The name of the victim has not yet been made public.
