The Florida Highway Patrol Panama City resident died in a weekend traffic crash. Troopers said 30-year-old Tavares Holland, was traveling north on Highway 231 near Highway 2 in Jackson County, and collided with a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Benjamin Albins from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Albins and three other people in the car suffered minor injuries. Holland was fatally injured. It is not known if alcohol was a factor in the crash and the investigation is continuing.
