The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department says the body found on the side of Highway 90 Tuesday afternoon has been identified as an 11-year-old boy reported missing from Colorado. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado Springs, Colorado says Gannon Stauch was reported missing January 27th. A road construction worker discovered his body around noon, near the Escambia River bridge. Authorities have not said how the body got there. Gannon’s stepmother, Letecia Stauch, was arrested on March 2nd in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and is accused of murdering the boy.
