A news release from the 1st Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field has provided more information about the fatal shooting that occurred at on-base housing Friday. The shooter has been identified as 42-year-old Elliot Alexeichik, a civilian, who shot his Air Force wife in the arm during a domestic dispute and then killed himself. His wife has been identified as 27-year-old Airman 1st Class Kimberly High, who serves in the 1st Special Operations Wing. She was transported to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
