NEW BLUE ANGELS PLANES

The Blue Angels say the first F/A-18 Super Hornet has arrived in Pensacola. The Navy’s famed flight demonstration team will receive 11 Super Hornets for the 2021 air show season. They will replace the Boeing F/A-18 Hornets currently being flown by the Blue Angels. The first plane was delivered from Naval Air Station Cecil Field in Jacksonville. It is expected all 11 Super Hornets will arrive before the end of the year. The new jets are 25% larger than the Hornets and they have a greater fuel capacity.
