The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a 58-year-old woman was arrested for stealing 16 American flags and a 20-foot flagpole from the Bagdad Cemetery in Milton. After viewing video from the cemetery’s security system the woman was identified as Connie Whigum after she was seen taking the flags and dismantling the flagpole. She was charged with removing or disfiguring a tomb or monument and booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail with a $10,000 bond.
