SEARCH WARRANT SERVED ON FORMER MAYOR

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement served a search at the home of Ed Gray, a former Gulf Breeze mayor. He is also the executive director of the Capital Trust Agency, the city’s bond issuance arm which issues hundreds of millions of dollars in bonds to fund mostly construction projects throughout Florida. Gulf Breeze City Manager Samantha Abell told the Pensacola News Journal there was nothing to indicate the raid had anything to do with Gray’s involvement in city business and that Gray had not been arrested. An FDLE spokeswoman said the search warrant related to an active ongoing criminal investigation. Gray served as mayor for the city of Gulf Breeze and also as a school board member in Santa Rosa County.
