The University of West Florida may not have a football season this year.  The NCAA Division II has decided to cancel all fall sports championships, affecting 7 sports including football. The NCAA Board of Governors said schools and conferences can still choose to play part or all of their fall seasons if they follow strict requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Eleven of the 23 Division II conferences have already announced they will not compete in fall sports.
