The Florida Highway Patrol says two teenage pedestrians were hit by a pickup truck early Saturday morning and one of them was seriously injured. Troopers say it happened around 1:15 Saturday morning as the pickup was southbound on Old Palafox approaching Gateway Lane in the Gonzalez area. The 14-year-old and 15-year-old pedestrians, both from Pensacola, were walking shoulder of the road when they were struck. Charges are pending.
