The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a 32-year-old Pensacola man was arrested after attacking a woman and stealing her car and after deputies found his wallet in the car. The victim told deputies she was in the car in a parking lot when Brandon Rowe opened the driver’s side door and punched her. She sprayed him with Mace, but he forced his way into the car, pushed her into the passenger seat, and started to drive off. She jumped out and ran for help and Rowe abandoned the car and fled on foot. After finding the wallet a warrant was issued and he was arrested and charged with carjacking and battery. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail with a $25,000 bond.
