The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a child was found dead in a small pond in Gulf Breeze Friday. Deputies were called to Greenview Lane in Gulf Breeze around 11 a.m. after a little boy was reported missing. The Midway Fire Department was called to assist the sheriff’s office who used a drone in their search. The name and age of the child has not been released. The drowning was believed to be accidental.
