Gulf Power in Pensacola sent crews to Texas and Louisiana yesterday to help repair damage caused by Hurricane Laura. About 180 employees and contractors left around 6am yesterday morning. So far this year Gulf Power has assisted communities in Alabama, south Florida, and New Jersey.
