The Escambia County School Board will meet Tuesday to vote on their selection of a new appointed School Superintendent. All four of the remaining candidates spoke to Board members and each candidate also took questions from the public for 15 minutes during an online livestream Thursday night. The four candidates are: Earl Johnson, currently the executive director of leadership and operations at the Flagler County School District in central Florida – Keith Rittel a former superintendent of the Provo City School District in Utah – Timothy Smith the executive director for the high school office of the Orange County Public Schools system in the Orlando area – and Keith Leonard  the assistant superintendent of human resource service in the Escambia County School District.
