The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department says three people were shot during two separate shootings and one of the victims has died. Investigators do not believe the two shootings are related. The suspects in both cases are in custody. The first shooting happened just after midnight yesterday morning in the 8700 block of John Hamm Road and a single victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the 3200 block of Highway 90 in Pace. Two people were shot and one died. The names of the victims’ names had not yet been released and the investigations are on-going.
