Gulf Islands National Seashore closed Perdido Key and Johnson Beach  ahead of Hurricane Zeta, which is expected to bring heavy rainfall, high surf, dangerous rip currents and coastal flooding to Northwest Florida. Fort Pickens Road, Highway 399 – J. Earle Bowden Way – and the Opal Beach Areas remain closed because of damage from Hurricane Sally. Fort Barrancas remains closed due to the closure of NAS Pensacola. These areas will remain closed until further notice.
