NO MARDI GRAS PARADES IN NEW ORLEANS The City of New Orleans has announced that Mardi Gras parades will not take place in 2021. However, city officials say Mardi Gras is not cancelled because it is a religious Holiday. The city says Bourbon Street will remain open – but with COVID-19 guidelines and capacity and hours can be subject to change. They also recommend that time in the city’s entertainment districts be limited with social distancing and mask wearing.
