NEW ROUNDABOUT COMPLETED

A new roundabout at Langley Avenue and Hilltop Drive in East Pensacola has been officially opened. The $633,000 roundabout is expected to ease traffic congestion from the three new soccer fields at the Hitzman-Optimist Park. The Florida Department of Transportation is currently building another roundabout to handle traffic at the intersection of 17th Avenue, Bayfront Parkway and Gregory Street as part of the new Pensacola Bay Bridge project.
