Some Gulf Breeze residents with overdue utility bills have received an early Christmas present. Business owner and veteran Mike Esmond has paid their past-due utility bills. Last year he paid the bills of 36 households. The 74-year-old owner of Gulf Breeze Pools and Spas says although his business has been very successful, he knows what it is like to have overdue bills and he wanted to help some of those who were at risk of having their water and gas turned off. His good deed totaled $7,615.40.
