23 Publix locations in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Bay counties will begin administering COVID vaccine shots to the elderly starting tomorrow. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made the announcement in a press conference Tuesday morning outside a Publix supermarket in Niceville. The shots will be available to Florida residents age 65 and older and each location can administer 100-125 vaccine shots per day. However, appointments are required.
