The Florida Department of Health says the State added 8,002 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the state’s total to 1,579,281.

The state also added 142 new COVID-19 deaths bringing the death toll to 24,657.

Escambia County had 151 new cases

Santa Rosa County had 50 new cases

Okaloosa County had 61 new cases

Walton County had 13 new cases and 1 new death
