The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a Friday night shooting that left one man dead and another hospitalized. Deputies responded around 7:30 p.m. to 900 block of Massachusetts Avenue.   Investigators were told the two men were traveling in a vehicle together when they were shot. Witnesses said that the shooter was a Black male dressed in black who had been on foot when he fire at the vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
