Escambia Fire Rescue says a weekend fire destroyed a house and damaged a Family Dollar Store on Davis Highway. Additional fire units were dispatched and the fire was brought under control just after midnight. There were no injuries reported and the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
