The Statewide Coronavirus Vaccination Community Education and Engagement Taskforce has identified 86 proposed vaccination sites they believe will provide more opportunities for COVID-19 vaccinations in underserved communities. Their list includes one site in Century, six in Pensacola and two in Milton. In Pensacola the proposed sites are: Cobb Community Center – First Baptist Church in Warrington – Greater Little Rock Baptist Church – Marie Young Community Center – Movement for Change/Woodland Community Center. The task force has sent a letter to Governor Ron DeSantis asking to partner with the state on vaccinations, but so far the governor’s office has not responded.
