The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after an inmate at the Santa Rosa County Jail was found dead in a cell.  Emergency life-saving measures were not successful. The Sheriff’s Office says the case is being investigated as a possible suicide. The identity of the inmate had not yet been released.
