Florida U.S. Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott have joined six other Senators to reintroduce the Sunshine Protection Act, that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent across the country, but it has not yet been approved by Congress. Fifteen other states have passed similar laws or resolutions. Many studies have shown that making Daylight Savings Time permanent could benefit the economy and the country.
