The Florida Highway Patrol says a 37-year-old Pensacola woman died Saturday evening after she was hit by a car while trying to cross North Pace Boulevard in Pensacola. Troopers say around 7:40 p.m. the pedestrian was attempting to cross North Pace Boulevard, near Gonzalez Street, when she was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
