VACCINATION CLINICS

The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County will host a walk-in clinic today to administer first doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and no appointment is needed but proof of eligibility is required. The clinic will open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Brownsville Community Center, 3200 West De Soto Street in Pensacola.  Those eligible include:

Residents age 50 and older

Health care personnel with direct patient contact

Long-term care facility residents and staff

K-12 school employees, police officers and firefighters 50 and older

Medically vulnerable residents with a completed form from a physician

Also, the Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County will be administering COVID-19 vaccinations this week at the former Bealls department store at 6209 Highway 90 in Milton for eligible residents. The clinic will be held today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: Walk-ins from 9 a.m. to noon, appointments only from 1 to 3 p.m.
