NEW PAINT JOB FOR ECUA WATER TANK

The Emerald Coast Utility Authority’s water tank on Cervantes Street next to Interstate 110 will soon have a new paint job. The ECUA asked the public for its suggestions on what should replace the three logos that have been on the tank since 2004. The winning logos will include a Home of the Blue Angels design on its east side; A Super Hornet jet, on its south side; and the words “Welcome to Pensacola” on the north side. It’s all part of ECUA’s ongoing $866,000 sandblast and paint job project, which is expected to be completed in May.
