The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says a 13-year-old student at the Okaloosa Academy Charter School near Fort Walton Beach was arrested Tuesday after allegedly telling the School Resource Office he would shoot him. The student was wandering around campus and refused to comply with orders from school officials and told the deputy he would shoot and punch him in the face if he touched him. The student was taken into custody and charged with threatening a public official and resisting an officer without violence.
