Milton native and professional golfer Boo Weekley says the reason he has been absent from the PGA Tour is because he was diagnosed with cancer. The three-time PGA Tour winner last played on the PGA Tour in July 2017 before elbow tendinitis required surgery, which ended his season. During his recovery, cancer was discovered in his right shoulder.  He has now returned to competition on the Web.com Tour and played in the Lecom Suncoast Classic near Sarasota, Florida this weekend.
