The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a convenience store clerk that happened during an armed robbery last night. Deputies responded to report of a shooting at the Quick Fill store on Mobile Highway near Lockhart Street around 8:15, where they found the male clerk dead from gunshot wounds. The Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance photos of two suspects. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department or to call Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP.
