The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a man was arrested after his vehicle got stuck on the railroad tracks. Deputies were called out to Montecito Boulevard and Mulat Road regarding a vehicle and train accident on Tuesday and found a truck on the railroad tracks that had been struck by an eastbound train. The driver of truck, 55-year-old Robert Hairston, told deputies he got stuck on the tracks after finding his lost dog. Neither Hariston or the dog was injured, but he was arrested for interfering with train operations and was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
