LYNN HAVEN MAYOR INDICTED

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says the Mayor and City Attorney of Lynn Haven in Bay County have been indicted on numerous counts of fraud involving the theft of 5 million dollars in Hurricane Michael debris removal funds. Mayor Margo Anderson has denied any wrongdoing. City Attorney Adam Albritton is also charged with scheming to defraud an insurance company by claiming he’d paid for work he’d done that was billed to the city of Lynn Haven. U.S. Attorney Lawrence Keefe, said Anderson and Albritton are the sixth and seventh persons indicted as part of an FBI investigation that was first made public in April of 2019.   Former City Manager Michael White and former Community Services Director David Horton have also been indicted.
