The Escambia County School District says practices for fall sports will  begin September 7th, with the first games set for September 18th. Escambia County School Athletic Director Roger Mayo said tryouts for student athletes will be conducted August 31st through September 4th. Game schedules will have as little travel out of the area as possible, but it’s not known yet if schools will take part in the state playoff series or if a small regional conference might be formed.
