David Stafford, Escambia County Supervisor of Elections, says his office continues to receive reports of voters who have gotten threatening emails. The emails say, “You will vote for Trump on Election Day or we will come after you,” and have been received be registered Democrats. The emails address the recipient by name and conclude with the voter’s postal mail address – all information that in Florida is public record and freely available. Stafford says anyone who receives a threatening email should report it to his office. The complete email says:

[PERSON’S NAME] We are in possession of all your information. You are currently registered as a Democrat and we know this because we have gained access into the entire voting infrastructure. You will vote for Trump on Election Day or we will come after you. Change your party affiliation to Republican to let us know you received our message and will comply. We will know which candidate you voted for. I would take this seriously if I were you. good luck 😉
