The Florida Department of Health says Florida added 5,557 new COVID-19 cases bringing the state’s total to 768,091, the highest single-day total since August. There were also 57 new deaths bringing the state’s death toll to 16,470.

Escambia County had 70 new cases

Santa Rosa County had 33 new cases

Okaloosa County had 83 new cases

Walton County had 29 new cases

None of the four counties reported any new deaths
