The Florida Department of Health says the state added 6,257 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, the highest single-day total since mid-August, which brings the state’s total to 827,380. There were also 39 new deaths bringing the state’s death toll to 17,170.

Escambia County had 119 new cases

Santa Rosa County had 88 new cases

Okaloosa County had 130 new cases

Walton County had 30 new cases

None of the four counties reported any new deaths
