The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a group of homeless men attacked, cut and shot another homeless man. The injured man said he was walking along North Palafox Street near West Herman Street Sunday evening when he was attacked. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department or to call Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP.
