The third and final Hurricane Sally debris collection pass in Escambia County will begin on December 1st with a goal to finish by Christmas. To help expedite the process, debris should be separated into different piles: Vegetative debris like tree limbs – Construction and demolition materials like drywall and carpet – Appliance like refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and water heaters – Electronic Waste like computers, televisions, office electronic equipment – and Household Hazardous Waste. Keep debris away from storm drains, low power lines, other utilities and mailboxes.
