The Florida Department of Health says the state added 8,555 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, which brings the state’s total to 953,300. There were also 73 new deaths bringing the state’s death toll to 18,383.

Escambia County had 111 new cases and 1 new death

Santa Rosa County had 37 new cases and 2 new deaths

Okaloosa County had 102 new cases and no new deaths

Walton County had 37 new cases and 2 new deaths

No new deaths were reported in northwest Florida.
