The Pensacola City Council unanimously approved leaving the city’s mask mandate in place through the end of February, 2021. The current mandate, approved by the council in late June, requires face coverings by employees and patrons in Pensacola businesses, but the ordinance applies only within the city limits of Pensacola. However, an executive order issued in September by Fl Gov. Ron DeSantis bans mask mandate enforcement by local governments.
