Because of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson has issued new restrictions for events at city-owned venues and parks. The new restrictions limit indoor city-owned venues to 25% of the building’s capacity. Also, the city will no longer issue permits for outdoor events at city venues. Outdoor events already permitted will be allowed to happen, but must follow new guidelines that limit attendance to 100 people and the events must show control of crowd congestion and follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, including mask-wearing.
