The Florida Highway Patrol has released additional information about the fatal traffic crash in West Escambia County on Tuesday. They say a 72-year-old Pensacola man was killed in that crash on Mobile Highway near Michigan Avenue around 3pm. Troopers say the man tried to make a left turn onto Mobile Highway, but failed to yield right of way and collided with a vehicle being driven by a 21-year-old woman. The man was pronounced dead on scene. The woman suffered minor injuries.
