The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened yesterday after armed suspects broke into a home in Milton and shot a man inside. It happened about 1:15 a.m. at a home in the 6400 block of Stanley Circle in Milton. Witnesses told deputies that armed and masked suspects entered the home and shot the man who was  transported to a hospital with injuries that authorities do not believe are life threatening. No motive has been established, the investigation is continuing.
