Health official say that some people are not showing up for their COVID-19 vaccine appointments, is creating problems. Apparently, people are signing up for multiple locations and going with the first place they can get vaccinated. Health officials say you should make sure to cancel your appointment if you no longer need it. Brad Baker, Santa Rosa County’s Emergency Management Director says 38% of the people scheduled for one of the vaccine clinics didn’t show up because they no longer needed the appointment. A spokesperson for Sacred Heart Hospital says ‘no-shows’ have not been a big issue at their clinics.
