The Florida Department of Health is shifting 28,500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to 27 hospitals around the state this week to immunize people under 65 who are considered extremely vulnerable because of underlying health conditions. The Department Of Health was able to allocate more vaccines to hospitals because of a 16% increase in shipments. Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Miramar Beach and Bay County are among the hospitals in Florida that will receive additional vaccines.
