MASS VACCINATION EVENT FOR VETERANS

SANTA ROSA COUNTY JAIL INMATE FOUND DEAD

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after an inmate at the Santa Rosa County Jail was found dead in a cell.  Emergency life-saving measures were not successful. The Sheriff’s Office says the case is being investigated as a possible suicide. The identity of the inmate had not yet been released.  MORE

PENSACOLA GUN BUY-BACK PROGRAM

The Pensacola City Council will vote tonight on whether to approve a gun buy-back program. ECUA SEWAGE OVERFLOW

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority says there was a 5,200 gallon sewage overflow on West Roberts Road in Cantonment due to a broken six-inch main that was damaged by a utility contractor. 3,500 gallons were recovered by vacuum truck and transported to an ECUA water reclamation facility for proper disposal and treatment.
