PENSACOLA POLICE DEATH INVESTIGATION

The Pensacola Police Department says a body was found in the Bay near Scenic Highway between Manolete Street and Langley Avenue around 3 p.m. yesterday. People walking along the beach found the body.  The body has not been identified, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of death.MORE

ECUA TERM LIMITS BILL WITHDRAWN

Freshman State Representative Michelle Salzman has withdrawn a bill that would have imposed term limits for members of the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority. MOLINO PRECINCT REOPENED

Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons and hundreds of community members attended the reopening and ribbon cutting of the Molino Precinct on Saturday. ESCAMBIA COUNTY WINS PEANUT BUTTER CHALLENGE

Escambia County Extension has won the statewide 2020 Peanut Butter Challenge. Escambia County collected 2,191 jars weighing in at 2,867.5 pounds as well as an additional 2,880 jars donated by local farmers Rodney and Mike Helton. BAY BRIDGE TO REOPEN
